Eligibility requirements: Junior golfer's age 13-19 at the start of the event that are not affiliated with a college golf program.
Format: 36 holes stroke play.
Divisions: Boys and Girls
Tees: Boys play approximately 6,800 yards; Girls play approximately 5,800 yards.
Conditions of play: USGA Rules of Golf shall be in effect.
Entry Fee: $295
Tournament Registration Includes: Two rounds of tournament golf, participation gift, and complimentary lunch Saturday.
Entry Deadline: 5 p.m. Friday, May 15 or until field is full.

Schedule of Events:
Friday, May 26: Optional Practice Round (not included in entry fee). Players should arrange practice rounds by phoning the golf shop at 480-367-8949 Rounds can be scheduled the week prior to the first round.
2-4 p.m.: Player registration at the course. Registration is not mandatory, but players will receive tee gifts and other event information.
Saturday, May 27: First round tee times start off Nos. 1 at 7:00 a.m. Complimentary lunch available to players.
Sunday, May 28: Final round tee times start off Nos. 1 at 7:00 a.m. Awards ceremony immediately following the completion of each division.
Accommodations: Harrah's Ak-Chin Resort is the host hotel. More information to follow.
About the Golfweek Junior Tournament Series presented by USA Today: The Golfweek Junior Tournament Series presented by USA Today is now in its 23th year, with this being the 13th editiion of the West Coast Junior Invitational. All events in the Series are nationally ranked by Golfweek/Sagarin and National Junior Golf Scoreboard. The Golfweek International Junior Invitational is the flagship event of the Series and annually hosts one of the top fields in junior golf. Entry is based solely on invitation or though a top finish in the Series.
At Stake: Winners in each division of the Golfweek West Coast Junior Open earn an automatic invitation to compete in the prestigious Golfweek International Junior Invitational Nov. 5-6 in Florida. Venue to be determined.

Cancellation and refund policy: Any player who wishes to cancel from the event, must notify Ron Gaines by email at rgaines@golfweek.com. Players who cancel before April 1, 2023 will receive a full refund less a $35 processing fee. Cancellations that take place between April 1, 2023 to April 27, 2023 will receive a full refund less a $75 cancellation fee. Cancellations that take place after April 27, 2023 will result in no refund.
Please note: Refunds cannot be processed unless a player cancels by email with Ron Gaines (rgaines@golfweek.com). Players who cancel directly through the tournament web site are cleared from the portal and have no means of refund. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.
